The Coronavirus spreads mainly through close contact, so please remember to keep washing your hands, maintain proper social distancing, and limit close gatherings to 10 people or fewer as recommended by the CDC. Here are 9 places you can enjoy for Spring Break in Washington County:
1. Enjoy Christmas at the Depot in Downtown Tennille 2. See a Live Nativity 3. Grab a 2019 Holiday Shirt from The Dairylane 4. Or a 2019 Holiday Shirt from Deep River Outfitters (Maybe Even Both!) 5. View the Model Railroad in the M. D. Hammock Oil Company Window in Downtown Sandersville
Ninety-One 10th-12th graders from Washington County High School (WCHS) participated in Waco Works at Oconee Fall Line Technical College (OFTC) in Sandersville, GA, an event geared toward exposing and informing high school students of local career and skills-training opportunities in Washington County, Tuesday, November 5.
Waco Works was sponsored by the Washington County Chamber of Commerce who received an EMC Electric Foundation Grant which allowed them to coordinate the creation of Waco Works with OFTC, Washington County High School and several key industries within Washington County. This is the third Waco Works event sponsored by the chamber and coordinated with OFTC. To read more about this amazing event, click here! Do you know someone who would make a great community leader?
