Brentwood School

Preparation for College and for Life
Picture
Brentwood School is an independent, college preparatory school for students in Pre-Kindergarten through 12th Grade.

Their mission is to prepare their students for college and for life by offering an academic program that fosters critical thinking and the ability to communicate both orally and in writing in all disciplines, while also requiring a high degree of personal responsibility.

Academics

Brentwood encourages its students to be well-rounded and to participate in a wide range of academic, athletic, fine arts, and community service activities.

Their Upper School Honor Code is a critical component of school life at Brentwood. The School fosters the development of leadership, scholarship, and character.

Athletics

Brentwood Athletics is an important part of the school's mission to prepare its students to be well-rounded citizens.

Since the school's founding, hundreds of Brentwood students have learned sportsmanship, dedication, loyalty, teamwork, personal responsibility, and leadership on the playing fields and courts of the Georgia Independent School Association (GISA) and its predecessor, the Southeastern Association of Independent Schools (SEAIS).

Today, nearly 80% of Brentwood's students participate in at least one of the school's 23 interscholastic athletic teams and receive valuable lessons in responsibility to their teams, their school, and themselves.

Student Life

Brentwood School is committed to providing a college-preparatory education in a safe and diverse environment while preparing its students emotionally, culturally, physically, and spiritually to lead productive lives in a global society.
