Christmas on the Square

Christmas on the Square is held one week after Thanksgiving on the Square in Sandersville. This event
includes Christmas carolers, a horse & carriage ride, Shop at Home, and a Santa-led Children's Parade, as
well as food and crafts vendors.

Spring

​The Washington County Recreation Department Annual Easter Egg Hunt is held each year at Kaolin Park
or Linton Park. The fun event for families is held on a Saturday, one week before Easter Sunday.

Chamber of Commerce Easter Egg-Stravaganza

Hosted by the Washington County Chamber of Commerce, large colorful eggs are hidden in some of Washington County's top tourist stops for the Easter Egg-Stravaganza. The stealthy egg-finders win Shop at Home Gift Cards.

Summer

City of Davisboro July 4 Festival

​City of Davisboro July 4 Festival features local and regional arts and crafts, food vendors, music and one
of the best fireworks shows around. This event is held the Saturday before July 4.

Sandersville Farmers' Market

Sandersville Farmers’ Market, while open year round, has special “openings” every Summer generally in
June or July. This event features the variety of produce, baked goods and arts & crafts by local and area
farmers.

Fall

Kaolin Festival

​The Annual Kaolin Festival is held leading up to and after the 2nd weekend in October. The exciting weekend of the festival features the Kaolin Parade, arts and crafts vendors, food vendors, a Car Show, an educational booth about Kaolin, movies, and numerous
children’s activities, along with local and national entertainment. Leading up to this weekend, the streets are filled with the
Century Bike Ride, Health Fair, Senior Walk, Shop at Home, Events on the Square, and so much more.

Tennille Bar B Que Blast

The​ Tennille Bar B Que Blast is held the last weekend in September each year. This event features local and
regional Bar B Que, local and regional musical acts, and shopping in Downtown Tennille.
