The Washington County Chamber of Commerce is preparing students to meet the needs of our businesses. Internships prove to be successful and meaningful for both the student intern and the business host.

The Washington County Summer Internship Program is kicking off in May 2021. Students can apply to intern at a local Washington County business during an 8-week program during Summer 2021. The 8-week program will take place from June 7, 2021 through July 30, 2021.

Student Requirements:
-16 years of age by May 1, 2021
-Must attend a public high school, private high school, or home school located in Washington County
-Must be within good standing of the school
-Submit two letters of recommendation

Students must submit an online application by April 21, 2021. Interviews will take place in May.

Business Information

If you are a business that wants to host an intern this summer:
- Your business must be a member of the Washington County Chamber of Commerce
- Must submit an online application and $50 administrative fee
- Pay intern minimum wage for at least 20 hours a week for 8 weeks

Businesses must submit an online application by April 7, 2021.
